This is the type of project Austin copywriters dream about. So being a copywriter, Austin resident and fan of the color orange, it was an incredibly fun assignment.

The University of Texas School of Law wanted to increase their application rates so we created a recruitment catalog that focused on the eclectic nature of Austin, as well as the outstanding standards of the UT School of Law. The best part was the results, an 8% increase in applications. The second be part was copywriting in Austin landmarks, at Barton Springs and at my favorite coffee spots and being able to call it research.

Results

UT saw an 8% increase in enrollment from candidates who received this brochure.

Two mailings were planned, but after the success of the initial round the School of Law didn’t need second.

The School of Law received a letter from a student (who noted she was from Austin) who was considering leaving Texas to attend law school. After receiving this piece of Austin copywriting, she knew there was no better place to live and study than The University of Texas.
